Long Handle Communications Pit Lid Lifter

The Long Handled Telstra Lid Lifter is designed to lever Telstra pid lids open, making it ideal for accessing most communications pits. Predominantly used to open ductile iron Class D lids. Where the standard long handled communications pit lid lifter would struggle to lift these lids, the long handle on this unit provides extra leverage and takes a lot of the stress off the back and re-distributes to legs and shoulders. This means it helps to ensure reduced safety risk for employees by removing the muscular strain hazard intrinsic to lifting hard to open lids. The communications pit lid lifter provides fast, safe access for authorised maintenance works inside access pits. An essential tool for underground civil works, drainage, excavation and road works. Note that this pit key must not be used to crack the seal (initial lift). Use small D-Handle Lifter instead.
