Heavy Duty Carbon Step Irons Steel 225mm

For use in sewer, communication, water, concrete drainage and manhole pits. Jaybro's manhole step irons are manufactured from high strength steel bar and fully coated in yellow plastic. This plastic coating is treated with a textured finish, creating a non-slip tread.

The 25mm diameter carbon steel bar construction makes them tough, durable and able to withstand heavy duty use.

Jaybro's man hole step irons have been tested in accordance with AS4198-1994, and they have an ability to withstand 180kg in tension pull-out position. Additionally, they can withstand 360kg in cantilever bending with no effect, making them a very resilient step.

Step irons can easily be set into precast structures during concrete pour - ask Jaybro about having your step irons precast into concrete pits to save time on site. 

Additionally, they can be caulked into a drilled hole with epoxy resin or quick setting cement.
