Connolly Key Joint can be used for forming expansion joints in continuous pour applications in addition to conventional end-of-pour situations. This expansion joint gains its strength from a rigid steel backing profile, with the expansion capability provided by closed cell foam adhered to the face of the metal profile. This system provides a rigid and strong product that produces straight clean lines. The expansion joint is fixed in place with a peg and wedge fixing system, making installation fast and simple and providing accurate height adjustment.

Unlike key joints with foam applied to one side of the product, this product produces a full depth straight joint. A purpose-built dowelling system eliminates any keyways in the joint and provides positive load transfer across the finished product.
