Description

The EcoLog® Coir Log – 200mm x 1.5m is a sustainable, biodegradable alternative to hay bales, rip-raps, and costly cement stabilisation techniques. Designed to protect waterways, manage erosion, and support vegetation growth, these coir logs are an excellent choice for environmental management and landscaping projects.

Made from 100% natural coir fibre (coconut fibre) compacted into a strong bristle coir twine mesh, EcoLog® Coir Logs are designed to blend seamlessly into the surrounding environment while providing temporary structural support. Over time, they naturally biodegrade, making them an eco-friendly and low-maintenance solution.

With a lifespan of 3 to 5 years, EcoLog® Coir Logs create a natural planting medium for vegetation, offering stability until plants establish strong root systems. They’re suitable for a wide range of applications, including water diversion, sediment filtration, spill containment, shoreline stabilisation, and erosion control.

The 200mm x 1.5m size is lightweight and easy to handle, making it perfect for smaller sites or projects where manoeuvrability is key. For larger applications, multiple coir logs can be stacked to form a natural barrier, making them ideal for tidal zones or areas prone to wave movement.
